Where to find it: Settings→ Learner Analytics
Every creator with published shareables can see how their content is landing, without chasing learners for updates or building spreadsheets by hand. At a glance, you'll see:
Total Learners Everyone who's been invited to a shareable in your hub, across every status from link sent through to completed.
Enrolled (Active) Learners who've started but haven't finished yet. This is your "in progress" group, useful for spotting who might need a nudge.
Link Sent Invitations that have gone out but haven't been opened or started yet.
Completed Learners Learners who've finished a shareable from start to end.
Completion Rate The percentage of enrolled learners who go on to complete. This is the number to watch if you're testing whether a shareable is landing well, a low completion rate on a specific piece of content is often the first sign it needs a rework.
Hours Saved An estimate of the time your shareables have saved by not requiring live, repeated delivery. This is calculated using your own prep and delivery time averages (set these up under your hub settings), against the number of learners who've started a shareable. Select View breakdown for the detail behind this number.
Followers People who've chosen to follow your hub, so they're notified when you publish something new.
Below the summary cards, you'll find every individual enrolment, with:
Name (or "Unknown User" if a learner hasn't created an account yet)
Shareable (which piece of content they're enrolled in)
Status (Not Started, Link Sent, Completed)
Enrolled Date
Completion Date
This is where you go when you need to know exactly who's done what, not just the aggregate picture.
Above the table, you can:
Filter by Status to see just your not-started, in-progress, or completed learners
Filter by Date Range (defaults to the last 30 days)
Search by learner name or email
Export to CSV if you need the data outside the platform, for a board report, funder update, or your own records
Set up Auto-Reports so this data lands in your inbox on a schedule, rather than you having to check the dashboard
Refresh to pull the latest activity
Right now, the platform doesn't track:
Quiz scores or performance. Quizzes on the platform are designed for reinforcement, not assessment; a learner retries a question until they get it right, so there's no score to report at an individual quiz level.
Pause, rewatch, or drop-off points within a video. We know granular viewing behaviour is useful, and it's something we're looking at for the roadmap. For now, completion status is your best signal of engagement with a shareable.
If either of these would genuinely change how you use the platform, let us know here (and vote on the other analytics features we have on the roadmap):
That's exactly the kind of feedback that shapes what we build next.
Why does a learner show as "Unknown User"? This means they haven't created a full account yet, usually because they've been sent a link but haven't clicked through and signed up. Their email is still recorded, so you can follow up directly.
Can I see analytics for a single resource rather than my whole hub? Yes. Use the dropdown at the top of the page (defaults to "All Shareables") to narrow the view to one piece of content.
How far back does the data go? The Date Range filter defaults to the last 30 days, but you can adjust this to see a longer history.
Can I share this data with someone outside Kaha Create, like a funder or board? Yes, that's what Export CSV is for. You own your data and are welcome to use it however's useful for your reporting.
I want to track something that isn't here. What do I do? For Ngahere customers, reach out to your kaupapa success manager or flag it through your usual support channel. For anyone else, use the roadmap voting button above
