Your organisation settings are the heart of your Kaha Create learning hub. Here, you can shape your hub's identity, invite your team, and create the perfect learning environment that reflects your kaupapa and values.
We've designed these settings to be intuitive and powerful, giving you complete control over how your organisation operates on our platform. Whether you're setting up your first hub or fine-tuning an established one, these tools help you create meaningful learning experiences for your community.
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of any page
Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
Choose "Organisation Settings" from the left sidebar
You'll find all your organisational management tools organised into clear sections that make sense for how you work.
Hub Name: This is how your learning space appears to members and visitors
Hub Short Description: A brief overview that appears in search results and previews (150 characters max)
Hub Long Description: Tell your full story here - what you do, who you serve, and what learners can expect
Pro Tip: Use our "Get help with AI" feature for the short description. It analyses your content and suggests compelling descriptions that capture your hub's essence.
Upload your logo to make your hub instantly recognisable
Set your custom URL to create a memorable web address for your hub
Choose privacy settings - keep your hub private for internal teams or make it public to reach wider audiences
Go to Settings > Members
Click "Invite Member"
Enter their email address
Choose their role: Viewer (learning access), Creator (can create content), or Admin (full management access)
Click "Send Invitation"
Perfect for adding multiple team members at once:
Click "Bulk Invites"
Download the sample CSV file to see the correct format
Create your CSV with email addresses in the first column and roles in the second
Upload your file and we'll process all invitations automatically
If you're planning to monetise your content:
Go to Settings > Receive Payments
Connect your Stripe account to receive payments directly
Complete the verification process to start earning from your expertise
Boost engagement with special offers:
Navigate to Settings > Coupons
Click "Create Coupon"
Set your discount (percentage or fixed amount)
Add restrictions like expiry dates or usage limits
Activate your coupon and share the code with your audience

Use inclusive language that welcomes diverse learners
Keep it conversational - write as if you're talking to a friend
Start with Viewer roles for new team members, then upgrade as needed
Use Creator roles for subject matter experts who'll develop content
Reserve Admin roles for trusted team members who need full access
Remember: You can always change roles later as your team evolves
Research similar content to understand market expectations
Start with introductory pricing to build your audience
Use coupons strategically for launches, special events, or loyal customers
Consider your community - pricing should reflect the value you provide while remaining accessible
What's happening: Only hub Owners and Admins can access these settings
Solution: If you're a Creator or Viewer, contact your hub administrator to request access or role changes.
What's happening: CSV format issues
Common fixes:
Ensure your CSV has exactly two columns with no headers
Check that roles are spelled correctly: "admin", "creator", or "viewer" (lowercase)
Remove any extra spaces or special characters
Download our sample file to see the exact format needed
What's happening: AI provides a general starting point
Solution: The AI provides a starting point based on available information. Simply edit the generated text to better reflect your specific focus, values, and community. You have complete control over the final description.
What's happening: File format or size issues
Check these requirements:
File size should be under 5MB
Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF
Square images work best for consistent display
If problems persist, try a different browser or clear your cache

A: Yes, you can update your custom URL anytime in Organisation Settings. Keep in mind that changing it will affect any existing links you've shared.
A: They'll receive an email invitation with instructions to create their account and join your hub. The process is straightforward and they'll be guided through each step.
A: Each hub has one Owner, but you can transfer ownership to another team member if needed. This ensures clear accountability while allowing flexibility as your organisation grows.
A: In Settings > Members, click the three dots next to their name and select "Remove from organisation". They'll lose access immediately, but any content they created remains in your hub.
A: Private hubs are only accessible to invited members, perfect for internal training or exclusive communities. Public hubs can be discovered by anyone, ideal for reaching broader audiences and growing your community.
A: Currently, we send a standard invitation email, but you can add a personal message when inviting individual members. For bulk invitations, consider following up with a personal welcome message.
A: Once connected, you'll see your Stripe account status in Settings > Receive Payments. You can also create a test course and make a small purchase to verify the complete payment flow.
A: Absolutely! You have complete control over pricing for each piece of content. Mix free and paid offerings to build your audience and provide value while generating sustainable income.
A: Team members can see names and roles of other members, but email addresses and personal details remain private unless explicitly shared.
A: Content you've created remains in the organisation hub for continuity. However, you'll lose access to edit or manage it once removed from the organisation.
