Guest Creators lets you add profiles for external contributors, experts, and collaborators to your Kaha Create account - without requiring them to have platform access. This lets you give proper attribution and showcase expertise when sharing knowledge created by others.
With Guest Creators, you can:
Create profiles for external contributors (name, title, bio, avatar)
Assign creators to specific courses or content
Display credentials to build learner trust and credibility
Manage multiple experts in one centralised location
Provide attribution without requiring creator login access
Click your profile icon (top-right corner)
Select Settings
Click Guest Creators in the sidebar
Click "Add Your First Guest Creator" (or "Add Guest Creator")
Fill in the profile information:
Name (required)
Title (recommended for credibility)
Bio (2-3 sentences about their expertise)
Avatar (professional photo)
Click "Add Creator"
Create or edit a course in your Sharing House
Find the "Guest Creator" field in course details
Select a creator from the dropdown
Save your changes
When viewing content with an assigned Guest Creator, learners will see:
Creator's name and title
Bio highlighting their expertise
Professional avatar
Clear attribution and credibility markers
Use professional, complete names Include titles that establish credibility Write concise bios (2-3 sentences) Use high-quality profile photos Get permission to use someone's name and image
Keep profiles current and accurate
Remove unused creators to stay organized
Verify information before publishing
Use consistent formatting across all bios
Do Guest Creators need a Kaha Create account?
No. Guest Creators are profile-based only—they don't require login credentials or platform access.
Can I assign one Guest Creator to multiple courses?
Yes! Once created, you can assign them to any of your courses.
Can Guest Creators edit their own profiles?
No. Only you (the account owner) can manage Guest Creator profiles through Settings.
What happens if I delete a Guest Creator?
The profile is permanently removed. Courses that reference this creator may show missing attribution, so review your content before deleting.
Is there a limit to how many Guest Creators I can add?
This depends on your subscription plan. Check your account plan details for specific limits.
I can't find the Guest Creators option in Settings
Ensure you're logged in
Click profile icon → Settings
Look for "Guest Creators" in the left sidebar
Try refreshing the page
Changes aren't saving
Click "Save" to apply changes
Refresh the page to see updates
Clear browser cache if needed
Guest Creator info isn't showing on my course
Verify the creator is assigned to the course
Ensure the course has been saved
Check that the profile is complete (especially name and title)
Try refreshing or logging out and back in
